Kids Need To Be Taught About Money
We believe it is important to teach young kids about money, so they can build the skills necessary to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.

We Guide The Parents
Whether parents like it or not, they are the central player in the development of their young kids money skills, values, and habits. Why? Because young kids learn about money by what they see, hear, and experience in the world. And they are learning every day as they watch, listen, and imitate how money is used and talked about at home.

Let’s Get It Right With the Young Ones First!
Training, in our view, should start when kids are young–by early elementary school age when money habits are being formed. If we give kids responsibility for making their own money decisions early on (with parental guidance) they will learn that money is just a tool, something to be understood, continually learned about, and used wisely.

What is Money Wizdom?

The Money Wizdom program offers families two ways to empower their kids to learn money skills:

  1. A simple, fun, and age-appropriate budgeting tool for families to use with their kids. It gives kids responsibility, with parental guidance, to manage their own money. Then the cool stuff starts to happen. And it fits easily into busy family day-to-day life. Learn More.
  2. Free, weekly Money Moment emails that offer parents short and actionable ideas for simple money training. They’re fun and fit into the everyday activities parents already do with their kids. Sign Up.

Who is it for?

Money Wizdom is for families with young kids and ideal for kids between five and eight. Best of all, Money Wizdom is appropriate for all types of families, regardless of income, money values, or the number of kids.
